Varaha, the third avatar (Dashavatara) of Lord Vishnu, appeared in the form of a mighty boar to save Goddess Bhudevi (Mother Earth) from the demon Hiranyaksha. According to Hindu mythology, Hiranyaksha dragged the Earth into the depths of the cosmic ocean, causing chaos in the universe. Lord Vishnu incarnated as Varaha, defeated the demon, and lifted Bhudevi back to safety using his powerful tusks.

The Varaha Avatar represents courage, protection, stability, and the preservation of creation. Worshipped as the divine savior of the Earth, Varaha symbolizes Lord Vishnu's commitment to restoring righteousness and maintaining cosmic balance.

This handcrafted bronze and brass Varaha Avatar idol beautifully portrays the majestic boar-headed form of Lord Vishnu carrying Bhudevi. Inspired by ancient South Indian temple sculptures, the idol reflects timeless craftsmanship and the spiritual heritage of Hindu traditions.
