Gaja Lakshmi is one of the eight divine manifestations of Goddess Lakshmi, collectively known as Ashtalakshmi. She is worshipped as the goddess of prosperity, royal power, abundance, and good fortune. The word "Gaja" means elephant, and Gaja Lakshmi is traditionally portrayed seated on a lotus throne with two elephants on either side showering her with sacred water.
According to Hindu mythology, Goddess Gaja Lakshmi emerged during the Samudra Manthan (churning of the ocean) and symbolizes wealth, fertility, auspiciousness, and spiritual prosperity. The elephants represent strength, wisdom, and royal authority, making Gaja Lakshmi a powerful symbol of success and abundance.
This handcrafted bronze and brass Gaja Lakshmi idol beautifully captures the divine form of the goddess with intricate detailing inspired by ancient South Indian temple art. The sculpture is ideal for home temples, pooja rooms, entrances, and festive celebrations, inviting prosperity and positive energy.
